One of the most important aspects of preventing / uplifting stomach ulcers is sufficient hydration. Dr F Bathmanghelidj within his excellent book "Your body's many cries for water" describes how he have healed literally thousands of patients of adjectives kinds of gastrointestinal ulcer, simply by ensuring that they enjoy sufficient clean, wholesome water (not sodas, coffee, liquid or anything else, just water) surrounded by their diet.
This helps not single dilute the acid within your stomach, but also assists the production of dile, which protects your stomach from the acid it contains (and which is essential for proper digestion). It is simple, cheap and effectual, with no risk of side effects.
The alternative, which is a combination of antibiotics and prpton pump inhibitor drugs is, by comparison, both expensive and risky - ALL antibiotics upset the elegant balance of good bacteria (flora) surrounded by your gut, some so much so that they can kill (look up "pseudomembranous colitis"). Although it is dying out, it does occur and is other because of the antibiotic.

In this year & age, ulcers shouldn't be chronic.
Ulcers are cause by a specific bacteria (H. Pylori).
An antibiotic can be precribed by a doctor to eradicate the overgrowth of the microbes and the ulcers should adjectives heal.
Please ask a doctor around why you are still having chronic ulcer (If you have already be treated with the proper antibiotic).
